Vision Music Studio is the home studio I use for teaching both in-person and online students. The studio is in a comfortable yet convenient location near downtown Munford, TN. The studio boasts a cozy environment conducive to learning for students who attend locally and also features a state-of-the-art virtual studio for students attending Zoom meetings.

I have taught private lessons for over 20 years and full-time for the past 15 years. I offer lessons for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, violin, ukulele, and composition lessons. I accept students as young as 5 years old for piano lessons and 7 years old for stringed instrument lessons. 

Lessons are tailored to the student and are designed to help them reach their musical goals.    

My desire to teach is rooted in my desire to see others reach their musical potential. Studying music is a deeply rewarding endeavor and one that I continue to embark on in my studies. Over the years, I have taught hundreds of students, many of whom have gone on to pursue music in college and professionally. My teaching philosophy has always been to foster a love for music in my students that they can carry with them throughout their lives. As a composer and improviser, I encourage my students to express themselves in the music they play while simultaneously teaching them to appreciate the theory behind the music. 

I am fluent in many genres of contemporary guitar music, including rock, jazz, metal, neo-soul, blues, CCM, and worship music. Guitar students can expect a mixture of repertoire, technique, improvisation, and theory in their lessons, which are tailored toward the genre of music they wish to study.  

Piano students will find a similar experience as I am fluent in many genres, including jazz, classical, pop, CCM, and worship music. 

In addition to my experience teaching privately, I have over 4 years of experience tutoring undergraduate students in theory and composition.

• Ages 5 through adults accepted for piano lessons. Ages 7 through adult for all other lessons.
• Lessons are available in either 30-minute or one-hour sessions. Rates are $30 for 30-minute lessons and $55 for one-hour lessons. Monthly subscriptions are also available under the subscriptions tab.
